Following the rhythm of the seasons, our seven-course menu changes approximately every three months.
Our cuisine is based on the use of aged meats, fresh fish, and fermented vegetables. We therefore kindly ask for your understanding that the “Ophelia” experience cannot be offered as histamine-free or vegan.
Nevertheless, we look forward to welcoming you on an unforgettable culinary journey.

For over fifty years, the family has been cultivating berries and asparagus with great care and respect for seasonality. Short transport routes, gentle harvesting methods, and optimal ripeness are key to ensuring exceptional quality and freshness.

2 GOIS KÄS De Luxe – Die Hofkäserei
The goat’s cheese is made from hay milk and follows the animals’ natural cycle. It is processed daily into various raw-milk cheeses and matured for up to six months.

6 Reichenau-Gemüse
Dirk Hoberg sources most of his vegetables from the island of Reichenau, where small, family-run farms work within the “Reichenau-Gemüse” producers’ organization, combining artisanal skill with respect for nature. Organic cultivation guarantees fresh and sustainable produce.

7 Fuchshof
Since 1978, the long-established fruit farm on the Bodanrück has been dedicated to fruit cultivation. What began with strawberries was followed by fruit orchards and the region’s first farm shop.

8 Wagyu Bodensee
For Wagyu beef, Dirk Hoberg relies on a regional producer. “Wagyu Bodensee” guarantees the highest quality through species-appropriate pasture farming, careful feeding, and a three-week dry-aging process on the bone, without artificial additives.

Gutshof Polting
At the Polting estate in Lower Bavaria, which has been committed to sustainable agriculture and species-appropriate sheep farming for five generations, the lamb for Ophelia is sourced. A valued partner for the kitchen of Dirk Hoberg.

The figs and pears sourced by Dirk Hoberg also come without long transport routes and grow in the orchard of a valued neighbor of the RIVA Hotel. Here, regionality and seasonal harvesting come together in a most natural way.

For wine lovers, hearts beat faster at the sight of what the walk-in wine cabinet has to offer. In numbers: 3,500 bottles and 700 different selections. For small groups, we are happy to arrange a wine tasting with Jerom Nicke at the large wooden table in close proximity to the treasure chamber upon request. Alongside outstanding wines from across Europe, wines from the Lake Constance region play a central role.
Summer Night Dream
During warm summer days, the unique Ophelia experience moves to the spacious Art Nouveau terrace. With breathtaking views of Lake Constance, guests enjoy the exquisite seven-course menu in a relaxed atmosphere.
Surrounded by the calm and beauty of nature, indulgence for all the senses unfolds, as a gentle breeze and the shimmering water perfectly complete the culinary experience – a true midsummer night’s dream.
Please note that the terrace is not air-conditioned.
During summer, gentlemen are welcome to opt for light linen attire and shirts.
For cooler evening hours, a light jacket is recommended. A mosquito screen ensures undisturbed moments of enjoyment outdoors.
